STEPS Edu Centre was officially inaugurated on June 27, 2024, by esteemed guest Sayyid Abbas Ali Shihab Thangal. The event marked a significant milestone in the establishment of a new educational hub in the region. Sayyid Abbas Ali Shihab Thangal graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the centre, which aims to provide quality education and skill development opportunities to students. The event was attended by by Darul Huda General Secretary U. Shafi Haji, Sharafudheen Morayur, Dr. Shafeeq Husain Hudavi, Abdullah Haji Thanalur, Shavali Sahib, Crescent Bava Haji, Ibrahim Haji, Ashraf Sahib, Saad Nadwi, Haneef Sahib Araf, and by a significant number of guests, including educationists, community leaders, and students.
The STEPS Edu Center, an initiative by the Samastha Islamic Center Yanbu in collaboration with HADIA CSE, is envisioned as a hub for educational and social activities. It plans to host various multi-purpose projects including the Little Wordz Preschool, Holiday School, Women's Day School, and a Guidance Center.
